SIUH / 1199 Negotiation Update – 8/31/2019

Staten Island University Hospital and 1199SEIU United Healthcare Workers East had their fourth collective bargaining session on August 30 relating to physician assistants. It was a productive session, as the parties reached tentative agreements on several non-economic proposals. Some significant issues remain to be addressed. We will continue to bargain in good faith to achieve a fair and fiscally-responsible collective bargaining agreement tailored to physician assistants at the hospital.
